Neues Jahr, neuer Beautypost – meine aufgebrauchten Pflege- und Make-Up-Produkte für Januar habe ich euch wieder mit Mini-Review zusammengefasst. Viel Spaß beim Lesen!

Burt’s Bees Honey Lip Balm
Hortet ihr auch haufenweise Lippenpflege? 🙂 Ich habe endlich diesen Pflegestift aufgebraucht und mag den dezenten, natürlichen Geruch und dass er intensiv pflegt und nicht nach 5 Minuten bereits wieder verschwunden ist. Gegen richtig trockene Lippen im Winter hilft er aber auch nur bedingt.
Fazit: Schöne natürliche Alternative. Wird nachgekauft, sobald ich durch die Labello-Berge in meiner Schminkschublade durch bin.

Veet Kaltwachsstreifen
Seit Jahren benutze ich die Veet Wachsprodukte und bin davon nach wie vor überzeugt. Das Kaltwachs verwende ich fast nur für die Beine. Die Streifen entfernen schnell und zuverlässig auch kurze Härchen. Natürlich ziept es etwas, dafür ist die Methode gründlich. Was ich schade finde, ist, dass mittlerweile zu wenig Pflegetücher für die Wachsreste in der Packung sind. Ich nehme dann einfach etwas Kokosöl, um die Rückstände loszuwerden.
Fazit: Meine Lieblings-Haarentfernungsprodukte!

Alverde Feuchte Reinigungstücher Bio-Wildrose
Die Tücher riechen sehr angenehm und sind sanft zur Haut. Mein wasserfestes Augen-Make-up bekomme ich damit nicht weg, aber für Foundation, Rouge und Bronzer nehme ich gern die Tücher. Mein aktueller Favorit sind welche von Demak’Up. Übrigens: mit feuchten Gesichtstücher bekommt ihr Glätteisen und Lockenstab im Handumdrehen wieder sauber!
Fazit: Empfehlung für die sanfte Reinigung – von Gesicht bis Glätteisen. 🙂

Guess „Seductive I’m Yours“ EdT
Kennt ihr das, dass man seinen Parfumgeschmack mit der Zeit verändert? Diesen Duft habe ich vor ca. fünf Jahren gekauft. Weil ich so viel andere Parfums hatte und dieses hier sehr mochte, habe ich es immer aufgehoben. Dann waren alle anderen leer, aber ich mochte den Guess Duft gar nicht mehr sooo sehr. Wie er riecht? Soweit ich das beschreiben kann: süß und fruchtig. Und er hält verhältnismäßig lange.
Fazit: Tolles Parfum, obwohl ich andere mittlerweile lieber habe!

Alverde Augentrost Augencreme
Das ist in meinem Leben die erste Augencreme, daher habe ich hier keine Vergleichsbasis.  Meiner Meinung nach macht sie, was sie soll: lässt sich leicht auftragen, zieht schnell ein, hält die dünne Haut um die Augen weich und spendet Feuchtigkeit. Welche Augencreme benutzt ihr denn und seid ihr zufrieden?
Fazit: Erfüllt meine Bedürfnisse komplett.

MAC Pro Longwear Concealer
Meinen MAC Concealer zähle ich auch mal als „aufgebraucht“, obwohl er eigentlich eher in die Kategorie „runtergefallen und ausgelaufen“ gehört – ups! Im ersten Moment dachte ich mir dann auch „Sch***e!“, aber eigentlich ärgere ich mich gar nicht mehr so. Warum? Den MAC Concealer wollte ich unbedingt haben, da ich Probleme mit Augenringen habe, und bei der Marke (und dem Preis) habe ich mir viel von dem Produkt erwartet. Die Realität sah anders aus: Ich habe den flüssigen Concealer immer „überdosiert“, da mit der kleinen Pumpdose jedes Mal zu viel herauskam. Er ließ sich leicht auftragen und auch die Farbe passte super zu meiner Haut (ich hatte NC15), doch schon nach kurzer Zeit setzte sich das Produkt in den kleinen Fältchen unter dem Auge ab. Ich musste den ganzen Tag die Rückstände verwischen – super nervig!
Fazit: Tolle Farbtonauswahl, aber ungünstige Verpackung und nervige Produktrückstände. Ist das Geld nicht wert.

Burt’s Bees Honey Lip Balm
Are you hoarding lip balm, too? 🙂 I finally used up this lip care by Burt’s Bees. What I like about this product is the discreet, natural smell and that it leaves your lips moisturized for some time – unlike other lip care that is gone 5 minutes after applying it. However, if you want to care for and prevent really dry, cracked lips in winter, this balm won’t really work.
Conclusion: I like this natural lip balm and might buy it again. Well, after using up all of the remaining fifty lip balms waiting in my bathroom drawer, of course.

Veet Wax Stripes
I’ve been a fan of the Veet products for years now. The wax stripes are what I use for my legs mostly. They’re easy to use and remove hair quickly and efficiently, even if it’s short. Of course this method isn’t completely pain-free, but it’s thorough. What bothers me is that the Waxing Kit contains now less cleansing wipes than before – I don’t know why, because you always have some wax rests remaining after using the stripes. I now use coconut oil to remove these.
Conclusion: My favorite hair removal products!

Alverde Facial Wipes Organic Wild Rose
Alverde is a German organic beauty brand and the private label of dm, a popular German drugstore. – These facial wipes smell so good and they’re really soft on the skin. I can’t make them work with my waterproof eye make-up, however, I use them for removing foundation, blush and bronzer. Despite liking the Alverde product, my current favorite facial wipes are from Demak’Up. By the way: the wipes are a great and easy tool to clean your hair straightener or curling iron!
Conclusion: I recommend the wipes for cleaning not also your face, but also your hair gadgets. 🙂

Guess „Seductive I’m Yours“ EdT
Over time, it seems to change what I like when it comes to fragrances – can you relate? I bought this perfume like five years ago. Because I had so many other fragrances back then and really liked this one, I saved it for later. When I had used up all of the others, I realized the Guess perfume wasn’t my favorite anymore. How it smells? As far as I can describe it: sweet and fruity.Andit’s long-lasting.

Alverde Eye Cream
This is the first eye cream I’ve used in my life, so it’s hard for me to compare it. In my opinion, it does what an eye cream has to do: being easy to apply, absorbed quickly, keeping the eye’s thin skin soft and moisturizing. As I’m a newbie: What sort of eye cream do you use and do you recommend it?
Conclusion: Fulfills my needs.

MAC Pro Longwear Concealer
I’m counting my MAC Concealer as “used up”, although “fell down and completely broke” would fit better – oops! My first thought was “Sh*t!”, but to be honest, I don’t think it’s that bad anymore. Why? I was dying to get the MAC Concealer because of the dark rings under my eyes, and I expected a lot from this product due to the brand (and the price). Reality was different: It was always hard to get the right amount of product as the liquid concealer comes in a little pump container. The product sure is easy to apply and matched my skin perfectly (I got the NC15), but shortly after using it, it started to settle in the little wrinkles under my eyes.
Conclusion: Liked the range of colors, but the packaging is just bad and I don’t think it’s worth the money as it leaves lines under your eyes.
