Monthly Life Update 6/17

Wie war mein Juni? Sonnig, heiß, und sehr voll. Wir haben weiter an der Wohnung gewerkelt, noch mehr Möbel aufgebaut, einen Wohnzimmerteppich bestellt und ich habe endlich meine Schminkecke eingerichtet. Außerdem war ich auf der Abschlussveranstaltung meiner Uni und der Taufe der Tochter meiner besten Freundin, habe mit Freunden weiter die Stadt erkundet, mit meinem Team von der Arbeit einen Escape Room gespielt und mal wieder Bar-Hoppen (schreibt man das so?). Und wir haben eine kleine Reise gebucht – wo es hingehen wird verrate ich euch demnächst!

 

Gelesen Nichts. Aber ich habe Bücher gekauft! Das ist doch schon mal ein Schritt in die richtige Richtung, oder? Besonders freue ich mich auf “Himbeeren mit Sahne im Ritz” von Zelda Fitzgerald.

Gesehen Seit längerem mal wieder “Modern Family” und ich finde es immer witziger. Besonders bei Cam und Mitch könnte ich mich kringeln. Schaut ihr die Serie auch?

Ansonsten habe ich “Pirates of the Carribean – Salazars Rache” im Kino angeschaut. Für viele war die Fluch der Karibik-Reihe ja nach dem dritten zu Ende und ich muss zugeben, dass mich der vierte nicht wirklich mitgerissen hat. Vielleicht lag das auch an der neuen Synchronstimme von Johnny Depp; ich finde so was immer verwirrend. Im fünften Film hatte ich mich aber an die Stimme gewöhnt und fand es spannend, dass er von der Story her ein bisschen wie der erste ist und vor allem an die Geschichte von Will und Elizabeth anknüpft. Alles in allem solides Popcorn-Kino, das Spaß macht. Ob das Franchise allerdings für einen sechsten Teil reicht, bezweifle ich.

Geschrieben Das war in meiner kurzen Bloggeschichte wohl der Monat mit den wenigsten Posts. Ich habe euch in den letzten Wochen schon erzählt, dass ich momentan wenig Zeit zum Bloggen finde oder oft andere Sachen dazwischen kommen. Helfen wird wohl nur bessere Organisation und dass ich den Blog auf der Prio-Liste noch weiter nach oben schiebe – schließlich ist es ein Herzensprojekt, das ich unbedingt weiterführen und weiter ausbauen will.

To Do Unsere Housewarming-Party planen, Besuche organisieren, die letzten Kisten auspacken (ja, es steht immer noch viel rum ^^), die perfekten Lampen finden und München besser kennen lernen.

Auf der Wunschliste Ein paar offene Mules (ich habe mich noch nicht entschieden ob hoch oder flach) und eine weiße Jeans.

New In Zwei kleine Umhängetaschen von Accessorize in weinrot/rosa und grau/rosa. Das passiert, wenn der ICE Verspätung hat und Sale ist 😉 Ich freue mich schon, die beiden im nächsten Outfit auszuführen.

So how was my month of June? Sunny, warm, and packed with events and things to do. We continued working on our apartment, assembled new furniture, ordered a rug for the living room and I finally created my little make-up corner in the bed room. Apart from this, I attended the graduation ceremony at my old university and my best friend’s daughter’s baptism, played an escape game with my colleagues and did some bar hopping once again. And we booked a little trip – I’m gonna tell you soon where we’ll be heading!

 

Read Not much. But I bought books! That could be a step in the right direction, don’t you think? 😉 I’m especially excited for a collection of stories by Zelda Fitzgerald.

Seen After a while I continued to watch “Modern Family” and I’m really getting into it. I’m particularly liking the stories about Mitch and Cam, I think they’re hilarious. Are you too watching the series?

Furthermore, I went to see “Pirates of the Caribbean – Dead men tell no tales”. Many of my friends told me that in their opinion the series was over after the third movie and I, too, have to admit that the fourth film wasn’t breathtaking. In contrast, I liked the fifth movie because the plot was similar to the first one’s and continues the story of Will and Elizabeth. All in all, the film is a solid sequel that is fun watching. I doubt, however, that the franchise needs a sixth movie.

Written In the short history of my blog, this June was the month with the fewest posts. In the past weeks, I told you that I have trouble finding time for blogging and that often there are things that may be more important than the blog. I think the only thing I can do about this is improving my self-organization and putting the blog further up my to do list – after all, it’s a project truly dear to my heart that I want to continue and to develop further.

To Do Plan our housewarming party, organizing some visits, unpack the last boxes (yes, there still are boxes ^^), find the perfect lamps and get to know Munich better.

Wishlist A pair of open mules (haven’t decided if heels or flats, though) and a pair of white jeans.

New In Two little satchel bags, one wine-red and the other grey and pink. So that’s what happens when your train is late and the sale is going on 😉 I’m already looking forward to wearing the two cuties!
